Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud Today Hosted People With Disabilities In Villa Somalia With Mission To Address The Challenge Facing The Somali Disability
The meeting was also discussed on how to strengthen the relationship between Villa Somalia and the people with disabilities living in the country.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has promised his government will host general conference aimed at addressing the problem faced by the group.
National Disabilities Committee has appreciated the meeting with President Hassan Sheikh and pointing more to be done to help people with disabilities.

1. To mentions in the constitution of Somalia the rights of persons with disability because current constitution of federal Somalia wasn’t mentioned the rights of persons with disabilities .
2. To establish a disability department under the president office how to facilitate disability issue
3. To ratify or sign convention rights of persons with disabilities (CRPD)
4. To held national Disability forum meeting aimed to empower Somali Disability entire the country.
It’s the first time Somali president hosted such this meeting with Somali disabilities the groups have accused the government of ignoring to address the plight of the people with disabilities.
Report released by Amnesty international decried the state condition of people with disabilities living in Somalia.
